The Lake Norman Monster
The Lake Norman Monster, or normie for short, has been described several different ways over the years. Visitors claim he's an enormous catfish, while a few say that he's more of a Nessie Lake creature. Some believe Normie to be nothing more than a lake sturgeon, which can grow up to six and a half feet long and weigh as much as 200 pounds. One of the more unlikely theories is that Normie is actually an alligator.
