The New York Times's False Attack on the Mayor's Legacy
Meredith Benson is the niece of Robert Venable, who was killed by gun violence. The New York Times reported that Mayor Eric Adams had a photo in his wallet from 1987 which he still has to this day. Meredith says she doesn't think it's true and thinks her uncle would never do anything like that. "Gun violence is real and gun violence is what killed my uncle"
