The Instinct to Find Someone to Blame

Batcha: The nation is in mourning for these individuals who were just murdered because of their race. I think that the impulse to find someone to blame, however misguided, comes from real pain. And even the people I'm going to criticize, I don't want to do so in a way that deprives them of the humanity that caused them to make this category error.
