China’s space plans: lunar GPS, a 3D-printed moon base and soil samples from Mars

Inside China

CHAPTER

China's Space Industry in the Tiananuan Mission to Mars

Holly Chick, Xingling and Andrew Jones talk to you about China's space program. April 24 has been decimated by the Beijing central government as 'space day' Chinese spacecraft Chang'e 6 is scheduled to land on the moon next year. The plan is to make China the first nation to bring back soil samples from the far side of the moon. We'll start with a rocket that's currently being assembled at the Wang Chang Satellite Launch Center in Hainan Island. Then we'll head to the Tian Gong Space Station for our three-stage podcast.
