The Evolution of Self-Domestication
This idea of self-domestication usually begins by something changing that self-selects against those types of behaviors. But it's a little bit different because of the fact that it's sort of accelerated by the social nature of the species actively making changes, says Andrew Keen. Some anthropologists think that this might be a feature that led to the large success of homo sapiens over homo erectus or homo neanderthal lensis.
