The british chambers of commerce has just published a survey of five thousand firms, and it found that inflation was their main concern. Rising inflation is likely to limit the uke's growth prospects this year by eroding consumers spending power and squeezing firm's profit margins and ability to invest. It will put a squeeze on business precisely a time when they're also facing hire tax bills from the government,. Some are still trying to repay some of the debt that they took on to get through the pandemic in the first ow gill growing up.
