The Magical Funding Ferry

I would see governments or private investors stepping in in a bigger way than they are now. So that let's say that we get a order magnitude increase in funding and fusion that would allow things to run in parallel. But money is not an issue anymore that there's sufficient money that one could get started. At the point of a finished engineering design where you feel that you have retired all significant risks, you would then begin to build one of possibly several different kinds of power clamps.
