The Next Generation of Economists Will Copy What the Model Says?

A lot of people who listen to this teach students are legitimately worried that those students will generate answers and copy and paste them. I think it is helpful if we return a little bit to history when we are looking at this question. My parents were concerned about me getting a good education, but given my specific skillset they also wanted to foster my analytical skills. So as our economy changed and as the technologies that we are dealing with changed, what we educate our children in has to change.
