You're still responsible for having your own back ups, in addition to the cloud. You can't realistically expect non technical people to have a se running etifec in the house. Not everybody has the resources to keep all of the data that they acquire actually safe. Maybe there's not enough internet to upload two terabites to three different clouds. But maybe instead of like, you know, every single single torrent protocol to acquire over the last 20 years, maybe you didn't have the resources to maintain it but you did with sennox and lox.
