The Malaise of Everything

Money has fundamentally altered something that I thought was, and I sometimes catch myself because it can seem too idealistic. The act of cooking for someone is to me as wonderful as any act could be. But there's a whole generation of people that are cooking now that don't even know why they're cooking. And then I wonder, am I contributing to the malaise of everything as well? We're all involved. We're all complicit in this gigantic system. Just like politics, we've created a system in my world, the art world, that no one likes but no one knows how to get out of.
