The Debt Ceiling Is Not Going to Be a Big Deal
In 2010, 11, 12, and 13 when this was dominated political discourse and politics in Washington, there was actually popularity behind the notion of using the debt ceiling as a way to tackle spending. "I don't have any confidence that they're going to go anywhere with this because they just haven't laid groundwork," he said about Democrats. He says it's hard for politicians to make an economic argument against government jobs being done in sweatshops.
