"After leg day, I get my lower body gets so sore that it just makes life miserable for the, you know, 48 hours after like a good leg day," he says. "I remind myself that it's like, you got to get over that 48 hour hump." He recommends five to 10 minutes of static stretching before going to bed every night and seeing an improvement in sleep quality.
