As a parent, you need to love yourself. You need to accept all the things that you find unacceptable about yourself and then demo what that integration is like for a young person. A lot of parents come to me to ask, hohow they can support their l g b t, cukets,. And i have a bit of a shocking answer to that one. To have seen that when i was a kid, i think would have been something quite magical for me. I never wished that i had a perfect setof parents, but a more a consciously loving set, and i mean, loving themselves.
