Tatepie, What Inspired the Return of Switchback?

There was a point where you did your your directorial day b with switchback, and then you decided to take a step back. What inspired the return? I don't talk about this very much, but right after switchback, my wife became very ill and nd. And i had two young children, and we were getting ready to move out to la. So i took a four year hiatus, and my wife eventually passed away. But i loved the idea of telling a a story, almost like a novel.
