The thinking emerging in the great reversal is that one can find a way to transcend all conscious thought, all painful experience. Professor campbell suggests the best way to answer these questions is to realize that it's all about consciousness. We are all merely the vehicle consciousness. In the metamorphosis, pythagoras tells us, for all things change, but nothing dies. The soul can journey from animal into a human body and from us to beasts. It occupies a body, but it never perishes. And time itself is like a river flowing on an endless course. What was is now no more; what was not has come to be renewal is the lot of time.
