How to Preserve Agency

An agile development process has to have transparency, that is visibility into the work and how it's moving through the system. Nurturing critical thought about team effectiveness should be part of a retrospective at the end of every development cycle. A common anti-pattern that I see in agile and scrum implementations is that they don't realize that the retrospective and having an effective retrospective are important.
