What Are Your Career Challenges?
When you think about your career as a linear progression, it makes absolutely no sense. I found particularly the first part of my career is I started to jump to make the next step happen. So if there's no space in this medium sized company that's growing 3% a year to move up, great, then I'm going to go find that at another company. That was how I kind of built progression for myself. But by the time I got to Shopify actually, what I started to realize at that point is I wasn't getting fulfillment about like a title change or a raise where I was getting fulfillment.
