The Importance of Trash Stores

A lot of what I really like to work with are these mass-produced paintings that start off somewhere in China and they wind up here like tourist traps. That's typically where I find them is at thrift stores. When my wife and I first started dating she had this kind of like side hustle where she was going to thrift stores and finding all sorts of like plates and dishware and typewriters and things like that. She would rent these things out to people who were holding events for like weddings or whatever so you know if somebody's having a wedding and they need I don't know 45 place settings but they wanted to be all sort of mishmash and vintage or whatever
