Trump and the Evangelical Movement - What's the Connection?

Amongst Muslims who say they never attend service at the local mosque, almost none of them said they were born-again. Those who attended more than once per week were much more likely to identify as born-again and that effect was multiplied exponentially by political partisanship. In the minds of people, at least on social media, there's an inextricable link in our American psyche between evangelical Christianity and the GOP.
