Arendt's the Banality of Evil in Peterson's Exploration of Totalitarianism

Peterson makes no significant use of Hannah Arendt, the thinker of fascism in the totalitarianism. The absence of Arendt's work in Peterson's exploration of these themes is suspicious and signals that his understanding of totalitarianism is missing integral philosophical insight. Even if we were to overlook the contradictory nature of Peterson's position on nihilism and political practice, we were to engage with his scientific terms imminently, his linking of nihilism with totalitarianism remains problematic.
