The Kwong family had planned the murder and dismemberment of Abby Choi for at least two weeks. The police believe that the murder plot was in the works for at least a month. There is a video of the police pushing the refrigerator out of the house to bring in that mass evidence. I think that the killers adding carrots and radishes and these seasonings to the soups, it's beyond me. We have no idea what their plan was as of right now.
