How Long Does Gastric Emptying Take?
Gastric emptying is sometimes expressed in terms similar to a radioactive half life. The stomach operator radioes down to the duadenum, ok, you gas ready? And then the trap door opens at the bottom of the stomach and everything just goes thwump and drops. If you eat your salad first or last, it's theoretic shouldn't matter that much. Any courses consume prior to gastric emptying are all going to get mixed in with each other and homogenized within the stomach.
