Victoria Azarenka's Evasion in the Match in Paris Was a Shame
Alina Svetelina was booed off court after refusing to shake hands with Victoria Azarenka at the end of their French Open quarter-final match in Paris. The Belarusian has said she will not shake hands with Russian or Belarusian players while Russia are at war with Ukraine. As soon as Azarenka did that gesture, I heard some booze, but they were drowned out by the incredible applause that Alina Svetalina was getting.
