The Fourth Lateran Council and the First Vatican Council both describe God as eternal. They're using Boethius' classic definition of what eternity is, says Kalam. If God is outside of time, then everything he does is done simultaneously because time doesn't progress for him. That would mean that from God's perspective, an actual infinity can exist.
