The Evolution of Amazon
The book tries to situate Amazon in a particular moment. It argues that we're into the kind of third generation of platforms, you know, moving into what you've mentioned already is the kind of the gig based economy of the platform. The central thing is when we're approaching Amazon, going back to my point as you've highlighted is that it represents so much of what the platform economy is today. And I think it's really important to emphasize that it always is unfolding and developing within a certain context.
