Is the Left Missing the Forest for the Trees on This Question?

Von altot: How is it that the left misses the forest for the trees on this question? Von altot: It does seem to be taken for granted that all of the progress that has been made in especially in the private sector, and sometimes as a private public partnership, has lifted people out of poverty. And yet, here is the presitent united states celebrating the transition away from a fordable energy in the middle of an economic shock. The abundant, affordable energy that's been available has been a godsend for people who don't have as much money, i mean, just to get to their jobs to do.
