Genesis 36: A Summary Comment
Moses doesn't want you to miss what's going on in his book, says Sam. In Genesis 17, the Lord changes Abraham's name to Abraham, gives him promises. The same thing happens here. I want to also note this phrase in verse 11: A nation and a company of nations shall come from you. Jacob doesn't have other physical nations that are coming from him.
