I've struggled with and feel horrible about when I resort to using force during a tantrum. The most common scenario is occasionally when getting my three year old into the car. When we're already running late he refuses to get into the car so after trying to reason with him fails I end up just having to out muscle him, hold him down and strap him into the car seat while he screams and kicks.
