A Case Study of a 35 Year Old Male Substance Use Disorder

A 35 year old male patient who has a history of substance use disorder, and specifically, he uses injection opioids. And he is admitted for fevers that have been ongoing for two weeks. He also reports low energy, low appetite and progressive difficulty with his breathing. The point of this podcast is reallyto not only sort of dispel myths about people with substance use disorders, but i think our differential, as id docs and medical docs, is pretty much the same as any other patient.
