The Motive for Murder
Dr. John White Webster had borrowed money from his friend George Parkman, who came to collect it on November 23, 1849. The two men were in the same circles but this wasn't a friendly visit as normally would have been. This is where we're having a little bit of a problem because it seems like this is going to be a motive for murder. But I think it's a little bit more complicated.
