The Differences Between the Republicans and the Democrats
The only thing Mr. Trump did of economic importance was the tax cut of 2017, December of that year,. That helped corporations and the rich, which is what Republicans always do. The Democrats didn't do that. They decided to spend in a big way on the pandemic, on infrastructure, on one or two other things. But let's make no mistake. When you have big spending plans, like the Democrats do, and the Democrats this year are spending like we were in a Great Depression, we will have a deficit over a trillion dollars again.
