The Importance of Skin in the Game
Instead of going top down, like regarding myself, I really believe in in symptoms where skin in the game is a central factor. So for example, making sure that people who make decisions can also bear the consequences if it go wrong. For example, if you build an extra flat on top of your own house, yeah, first thing you should do is to ask your neighbors what they think of it. Because it's their, it's their view. It's what's blocking their view or blocking the sunlight or whatever. But then there should also still be some kind of guideline to make sure that it doesn't become a Frankenstein town.
