The Doctrine of Unconditional Election

The doctrine of unconditional election is that god chooses those who will come to faith in christ. It doesn't depend on anything that you or i do so that god chooses us. Those who deny it argue for a kind of conditional election, and that's based upon individuals meeting certain conditions. And if i choose to believe in christ, then god confirms that, ratifies it, and puts me into the class of the elect where our lives are over.
