M, i think it would be nice to assure ourselves as writers that everything we do has a great political purpose because it teaches people to love one another. I'm sceptical of a lot of the claims made for literature in those contexts and i don't want to sort of uncritically participate in those claims either. S youve just had a story published in t new yorker, and i've seen an announcement for a fellowship whichs has a working title for your next book in m, which is beautiful world. Where are you? M, ye, but i mean, i do, i do write about interdependency.
