Is No-Susptive Input Driving Pain Perception?
Pain does not always originate from nerve endings in the stump. Pain is being generated at some way at the central level, he says. Anestheticics and anesthetics can block pain perceptions even without directly inhibiting no-susception. So they're clearly not the same thing, they're dissociable.
