The New Marxist Way of Understanding the World Economy
Under globalization, basically the world is seamlessly united by markets and no nation state matters. Under US hegemony and US empire ideas, which became very current in the early 2000s, the idea was that the world economy was united by a single state. So eventually, so to make a very long story short, what I have done in geopolitical economy is propose a new Marxist way of understanding the world economy as opposed to cosmopolitan ways of understanding it.
