M: The podcast doesn't hate the academy, more reckon recognizing that it's almost this kind of subsuming leviathan. M: What determines and dictates what happens to be fashionable, relevant, significant at any particular moment in time changes remarkably with history and location. Rike isn't fashionable now, but i could imagine rike becoming fashionable again under the right circumstances. I think it's fashion as much as anything else, intellectual fashion.
