The Importance of Pay in a Good Job
In a good job, people have to get enough pay so that they have control over their lives. Unfortunately, these minimum conditions are not met for tens of millions of people in the United States. When workers don't make enough to make ends meet, then in their job, then they end up juggling multiple jobs. And when companies operate with high turnover, there are so many basic management practices that they just can't implement. It creates a vulnerable, uncompetitive and inhumane system.
