How Do You Navigate That Conversation With a Parent?
How do you get on with a parent who just thinks little Johnny is going to play for England and you need to do more perceived coaching of him? I remember choosing one route when I was coaching in the academy at Fulham with under 11s. then it can become a bit of a rumor mill if they don't understand or agree right yeah I've avoided some of those questions because I've explained things and why what I've been doing, says Roy Hodgson. "We're really clear on our philosophy so I said right from the start kids are going to play in all different positions," he adds.
