i was a journalist for more than ten years on a local and national level. i definitely became a little bit disillusioned by the story, because i felt like we were reinforcing a narrative from central authorities. I don't respect that. One of the reasons why i felt so passionate about my industryis because my parents are the little guy,. They lost everything in the financial crisis. And there's a reason that that happened, and it's because the systems broken and big business is in bed with politics. So i hope to lead by example.
