How to Discover New Particles
We use the large hadron col er to smash protons together to make that little blob of energy, which can give us a clue about what's going on. From that blob of energy, basically anything that can come out does come out eventually, right? With some sort of probability. And that sota tells us what kinds of particles the universe can make. Yeh, exactly. It's sort of amazing. You don't have to know what you're going to make before you turn on the collider. You just to see, like, everything that's possible. And so you just got a sort of watch, and eventually everything, we'll pop out.
