The Biden Administration's Response to China's Attacks on National Security
Allegedly, Beijing has agreed to give Havana several billion dollars in cash with the understanding that China can either build a new intelligence base on the island or rehabilitate a former intelligence base. The focus of the spy base would be to collect something called signals intelligence. But here's why China likely wants that intel base so badly: They'll be able to collect on the US military's southern and central command headquarters both of which are in nearby Florida.
