The Liberal and National Vote Is in Structural Decline
In previous generations, there was a tendency that as people got older, their voting patterns became more conservative. That doesn't seem to be happening for millennials. So do you think the Liberal and National Vote is in structural decline? I think we've got a combination of both a cyclical decline and a structural decline. And that's very bad when you have both of those things at once. You know, if the cycle's heading in your favour, because of political dynamics, even if the structural vote is going against you, you can still win elections. But if both you are in a structural decline and acyclical decline, you've got real problems.
