I Don't Think Academic Theory Is Like Science
When I was at graduate school, of course, I thought I knew the truth. And he didn't, just FYI, in my mind. He would explain patiently to me that he was unconvinced by that. We'd have a really serious, intense argument about whether vodka had any flavor. But those weren't so important and interesting as one where he said academic theory is like science.
