The Extensive Phenotype

The contingent of genes that you have in your DNA is known as the genome. How they are then expressed, what it goes on to look like is called the phenotype. And so for example, the genes for birds' nests are really in the genome of the bird. Not all of our manifestations in the physical environment are there encoded in the DNA, not by a long shot. Something in our genome codes for a universal explainer,. allowing us to create explanations, understand the world, and bring new knowledge into existence. So this is a unique feature of our genome. Therefore, our extended phenotypic system is a rather strange beast. It's a strange phenomenon.
