The Future of Democracy in the 21st Century
If we want the 21st century to be a democratic century, we need to make sure that people embrace freedom and democracy. I'm genuinely torn in my assessment about how likely that is because I do think that citizens in those countries don't like dictatorship. And on the other hand, I also understand that a number of our would be allies in this are very uncomfortable when we frame the struggle against Russia or China in those ideological terms.
