Mannerism by Vassari

Vassari painted in the mannerest style. Mannerism generally departs from realism with a sort of calculated artificiality. Limbs or necks may be elongated. Poses might be sort of odd, with slightly stressed or over complicated postures. And colors sometimes appear hypersaturated to the point that they no longer look real. But vasari's architecture has been even more celebrated than his painting. The ufizzi in florence, italy, was started by vassari in 15 60 for cosimo and is home to some of the most famous works of art in the world.
