Simple squamous epithelia is one layer thick of flat cells. So it's very thin, like all these pancake cells, but they're not on top of each other and just next to each other. It's simply there as a minor barrier, separating out the environments,. But obviously wants to interact with the environment. Otherwise, it wouldn't be thin. Diffusion. We can then guess and impute where we can find it, and then talk about what it does in that particular area. Let's now talk about, because it's 41 minutes in, and we haven't spoken about some space.
