Is Convexity a Good Thing?

Jack, i think i often just say tho people look a like upside convexity. A very simple example would be something like a lottery ticket. It's just that under certain cenarios, you make obscenely amount more than you pai. That is highly convex. And so, to me, what i was looking for was that a symmetry,. I wanted something i could take 20 thousand dollars and buy a hedge such that if the house i wanted went from a million to two million, that 20 thousand could turn into 200 thousand.
