The Importance of Mindfulness in Meditation
Even with our eyes closed, we're usually looking in one direction or another. Eye position and brain spotting is not just determined by where we're looking, just what we're seeing. It's also determined by the eye muscles that hold each eye in place. So let's say if you're meditating and you are aware of where you’re looking, you add that in to your meditation. Just maintain your gaze in that direction with your eyes closed. It can focus or enhance meditation.
